Taliban Quits Bunair

PESHAWAR: Taliban have vacated the Pir Baba shrine in Bunair and conditions are peaceful in the area, a local official said. DPO Bunair Abdul Rasheed said that the Taliban have quit the area with the efforts by a local peace Jirga and Commissioner Malakand division.
Clarifying reports about the Pir Baba shrine, DPO said the shrine and the mosque have been opened and people offering prayers in the mosque. He also denied about any restrictions over the visit to the shrine.
The official also said that the conditions have returned to normalcy in Bunair and all markets and schools have been opened.
